Sofiero Palace and Gardens is situated in the city of Helsingborg, Sweden. With its fantastic location by the strait of Öresund, Sofiero Palace and Gardens is an absolute must for a visit. Unique royal gardening heritage goes hand in hand with contemporary garden design and fascinating exhibitions in the palace and park. Sofiero´s magnificent rhododendron collection, blooming in late spring, is widely known. With the new bridge spanning the north gully, Sofias bridge, everyone now enjoys easy access and can admire the glorious display of blooms from above. Every bit as dazzling are the mass of flowers that fill the park in summer, with southern Sweden’s most popular gardening event – The Garden Festival – rounding off the season. The wonderful collection of dahlias, in bloom in late summer, is one of Sweden’s most extensive.

When the castle garden is in bloom, between April and September, Sofiero offer guided tours and sculpture walks. The palace has a high-quality gift shop, a café with a tempting selection, and a restaurant boasting some of the finest views in Helsingborg. It’s not surprising that visitors repeatedly award top marks to Sofiero Palace and Gardens. There’s always something new to discover at Sofiero!

The season – with the palace and other buildings being open for visitors – starts in April and ends in September. The park is open all year.
